Services delivered: Design, Integration & Operation
In designing, integrating and advising on operations, each element of Principle One’s audiovisual solutions in Bank of China Hong Kong’s three storey retail flagship store in bustling Causeway Bay exceeded expectations in reaching client goals and reinforcing its marketing message. Working with partner interior design firm One Space, the integrated design and development model cut the project time from three months to 50 days, whilst incorporating a range of cutting-edge AV technical solutions.
To best promote BoC’s banking services, Principle One proposed two 110” (2.4m) high video walls made up of 4 x 55” Samsung, Energy Star Rated 5 Star professional video wall screens, mounted on pillars flanking the entrance running from 8am to 11pm seven days a week.
Principle One guided the bank’s marketing team to create a new type of marketing collateral for use on screens throughout the branch. The fully programmable content can be changed over the course of the day, week and for special promotions.
Aesthetically pleasing yet lockable cases around the columns offer weather protection while incorporating an open overhang and fan that maintains the interior temperature below 45 degrees.
A multizone audio system provides another level of differentiation on each of the flagship’s three storeys: general banking, wealth management and VIP floors are treated to three different ambient sound tracks.
Principle One researched and discovered an inexpensive UV light filtering film that protects the screens increasing their lifespan and reducing maintenance downtime.
Principle One’s training ensures the client gets the best return on investment, and a one page laminated ‘cheat sheet’ for the operators and content developers and can be passed on to future users.
